The town of Brighton is following in line with all of Ontario’s lockdown-related guidelines starting on Boxing Day.
The administrative office, library, King Edward Park Arena and public works buildings will all be closed, effective December 26, along with the office at Fire Station 1, the Brighton YMCA, Codrington Hall, Hilton Hall and the curling club.
All council and committee meetings will continue to be held virtually and any payments to the town can be made online as well.
Garbage tags can be bought at the usual locations in town and water test kits can still be picked up and dropped off at the HKPR Health Unit or the Municipality of Trent Hills office in Campbellford.
All of Brighton’s parks will stay open to the public with physical distancing restrictions in place.
