New COVID-19 case numbers have been consistent this weekend. Hastings Prince Edward Public Health announced seven new confirmed cases of the coronavirus Sunday, the same number as
was reported Saturday.
Three of the new infections were located in Prince Edward County, two in Central Hastings, and one each in Quinte West and Belleville.
There are now 36 active cases with two people being treated in hospital, none in intensive care.
Since the pandemic began there have been 245 confirmed infections in the two counties. The number of outbreaks remains at three.
The case rate per 100,000 is 17.2.
An update for Northumberland County has not been provided.
