COVID-19 has affected every single sector of life around the world, across Canada, and throughout the Bay of Quinte region.
As we look back at 2020, Quinte News chatted with the Warden of Hastings County Rick Phillips.
“COVID basically took over 2020, and I could not be more proud of my county and my staff for what they have done, the paramedics, the long-term care workers.”
Phillips was quick to give credit to the federal and provincial governments for their work and support towards the county.
He says funding for more paramedics, cash in long term care, and money for the municipalities in Hastings was all part of that support .
