Belleville’s new warming centre opened for the first time this season last night (Tuesday).
At 4 a.m. this morning (Wednesday) the temperature was minus 13 with a windchill of minus 19 according to Environment Canada.
The warming centre is now located in a part of the Belleville Police Service’s former headquarters on Dundas Street East.
