FARRELL, Bernice Margaret (nee – McDermott) – Peacefully with her family by her side at Moira Place Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Farrell. Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Mary McDermott. Loving mother of Donna Freeman (Duane), Peter Farrell (Brenda), Mary-Ellen Genereaux (Kirk), Larry Farrell, and Joanne Farrell and the late Richard Farrel (Lois Freeman). Loving sister of Bernard (Sheila), and predeceased by siblings Theresa Donovan (John), Vince (Olga), Leonard (Survived by Noreen), Frank (Eleanor), Mary McWilliams (Harry) and Ed (Milly). Loved by her 9 grandchildren Michael Freeman (Leslie), Mylinda Turk (Ron), Kimberley Lambert (Chad), Aimee Kunopaskie (Trevor), Shawna Kinlin (Pat), Dawn Shuh (Tony), Robert Farrrell, Rae Bauman (Jason), and Opal Partidge (Colin). Cherished GG to her 17 great grandchildren. Bernice was known by her great faith in God and her cherished family and friends. We would like to express our deep gratitude as a family for the outstanding care that mom received during her time at Moira Place. She made many friends there and will truly be missed. Friends are invited to visit at the Burke Funeral Home (613-968-6968) 150 Church St., Belleville on Sunday, December 6th between 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church on Monday, December 7 at 10:30am. Interment St. James Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, and to the Moira Place LTC Benevolent Fund would be appreciated by the family.
