The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit is confirming nine new COVID-19 cases locally.
There are 39 active cases currently with two recoveries since Monday.
Transmission is linked to close contact in three cases, local transmission in one case, outbreak related in one case and the four other cases are pending.
This brings the number of total cases in our area up to 147.
There are now 15 cases of the virus linked to the outbreak at Proctor and Gamble.
The majority of cases remain in the Belleville area, with the rest throughout Hastings Prince Edward counties.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people is 19.6 according to the HPE COVID-19 Dashboard.
In Northumberland County, there are eight new cases reported today, with a total of 26 active. Their total number of cases reported to date is 94.
