The Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service from November 25, 2020 at 5 a.m. to November 26, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Trespass to Property Act Charges
On November 25, 2020 at 5:10 a.m., police attended the area of Front Street regarding a male who was causing issues with paramedics. The male was belligerent, acting out and refusing the services of the paramedics. The male was located in a vestibule and refused to leave when directed to do so by Police. As a result, the 23-year-old male who failed to identify himself was arrested and charged for Failing to Leave Premise when Directed to do so. He was transported to the Belleville Police Service and released on a Provincial Offences Notice once he identified himself.
Arrested on Warrants
On November 25, 2020 at 9:40 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Grier Street. Upon arrival an investigation ensued and police learned that an involved male on scene was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 36-year-old Belleville male was subsequently arrested on the outstanding warrant and transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was released on an Undertaking.
