The controversial issue of a major expansion of a large and popular trailer park and recreational area will be in front of Prince Edward County council Tuesday night.
The owners of Quinte’s Isle Campark on the county’s south shore want council to approve rezoning of property to allow the park to expand by adding 337 park model trailers.
Many residents in the area say they haven’t been properly consulted and have environmental and traffic concerns, and say such a major expansion doesn’t fit in with the rural nature of the area.
At council’s meeting three people will speak against allowing the rezoning and park expansion.
