Belleville police were involved in a car chase early Saturday morning.
The pursuit began around 6 a.m. south on Sidney Street and was last seen heading east on Bridge Street West at high speeds. Officers ceased the chase in the interest of public safety.
According to police the vehicle was found six hours later in a residential driveway on Frank Street. The car was not associated with the residence.
Police discovered the vehicle was stolen out of Kingston and seized it for further investigation.
