SusGlobal Energy Corporation has purchased an additional 6.8 acres of property on Phillipston Road in Belleville.
The company exercised their option to acquire the lands which includes a licensed gravel pit and right of way at a cost of $210,000 plus HST.
SusGlobal is now the owner of a 49-acre parcel of land at their Belleville facility and will continue producing Earth’s Journey compost.
SusGlobal Energy Corp. Executive Chair, President and CEO Marc Hazout says they are pleased to purchase the additional parcel of land to continue their initiatives at the Belleville site and bring organic waste management systems to a sustainable level, implement a waste diversion plan from landfills and produce regenerative products.
