Lennox and Addington OPP have arrested a second Belleville man who is now facing charges in relation to an opioid related death.
In June 2019, OPP along with the Tyendinaga Mohawk Police Service, began an investigation into the death of a 38-year-old woman at a home on the Territory.
With the assistance of the Belleville and Tyendinaga police services, 39-year-old Richard Johnston of Belleville was charged with possession of fentanyl and crystal meth for the purpose of trafficking at the time.
Last month, police executed search warrants at two homes in the Belleville area and arrested 56-year-old Rorrie John Macdonald.
He is facing trafficking cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking charges.
Macdonald will appear in Belleville court on December 17.
