Construction in Prince Edward County is up slightly over last month.
The municipality is reporting there were 70 permits issued in October, totaling $8.1 million in construction value.
In September, there were 64 permits issued with a construction value of $6.2 million.
Compared to 2019, the number of permits is down from 102, but construction values are only down $460,000.
So far this year, Prince Edward County has issued 648 permits with a total construction value of $78.6 million.
In 2019, there were 780 permits issued through until the end of October with a value of $97.2 million.
