UPDATE @2:01 P.M.:
Northumberland OPP have charged a 76 year-old from Trent Hills with careless driving after a pickup truck collided with the back of a school bus.
On Tuesday morning around 7:40 a.m., officers were called to County Road 30 north of Hansen Road for a two vehicle collision.
The bus had eight students on board at the time and had stopped to pick up additional children.
Paramedics were called to the scene and no injuries were sustained by any of the students or the bus driver.
The driver of the truck was taken to hospital for minor injuries.

A man was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries after the vehicle he was driving rear-ended a school bus north of Brighton this (Tuesday) morning.
The collision occurred on County Road 30 north of Hansen Road. The bus was carrying students but no one else was injured.
County Road 30 was closed to traffic in the area for investigation and cleanup but was reopened after 9 o’clock.
