Halloween may be about dressing up, but for one little boy and his family, it has become a tradition much more important.
Bentley Davidson, who is best known for dressing up as Gord Downie from The Tragically Hip, when he was two, has raised over $13,000 this year for the Belleville General Hospital.
His mom Shannon White said because of COVID-19 they had to rethink how they would fundraise this year for local charities.
The two approached area businesses seeking a donation, which was turned into gift baskets to be raffled off.
They raised $13,401 to be donated to the Dr. Douglas A. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic at BGH.
BGHF Executive Director Steve Cook said it is truly an incredible effort and will go a long way to helping everyone in our area who has been touched by cancer.
