Arrested on warrant
On October 30, 2020 at 3 p.m., police received information on the location of a wanted man. The man, a 29-year-old Belleville resident, was wanted for domestic assault and two counts of domestic mischief. He was located by police, and was arrested without incident. He was held for a bail hearing. His name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
Man injured on ATV
October 30, 2020 at 4:45 p.m., police attended an east end address regarding a man injured after falling off an ATV. The 49-year-old man was not wearing a helmet while driving the vehicle on the city street. He was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The investigation is continuing, and charges are pending.
