Belleville Police responded to 60 calls for service during the past 24 hours.
Those calls included a car break-in sometime overnight on Wednesday at a home on Montgomery Boulevard, where a suspect got into a vehicle and stole $170.
The car’s owner couldn’t remember if he had locked his car or not.
Then, around 9:30 last night officers were called about a group of kids causing problems on Pine Street.
Police say about six young people were making noise and throwing rocks, but the group had left the scene before they arrived.
No property damage was reported.
