A Prince Edward County man has been arrested in connection to an alleged robbery in Quinte West last week, where one person suffered minor injuries.
Quinte West OPP were called just before midnight last Wednesday, to what they call a “violent altercation involving a large group of people” at a business on Trenton Street.
A car was seen leaving the area when police arrived, but officers decided not to chase it down, in the interest of public safety.
A further investigation has led to the arrest of 34-year-old Darrell Snyder today.
He has been charged with one count each of robbery with violence, flight from police, dangerous driving and breaching probation.
He was held in custody and is awaiting a bail hearing.
