The City of Quinte West is looking to follow in Belleville’s footsteps on a project proposed for next summer.
At the Economic Development Tourism Advisory Committee meeting Wednesday, a recommendation will go forward for construction of three structures for a Pop-Up project.
It would run Monday June 7 to Friday September 4, 2021 in Centennial Park in Trenton.
It would see three vendors, along with food truck operators, at the Robert Patrick Marina area along the water.
The proposal says it will give vendors a chance to run their businesses, while generating new clientele, during a tough economic time.
The cost of the pop-up sheds would go through the Municipal Accommodation.
Staff is recommending the purchase of three wooden sheds from Brubacher Sheds.
