We have a new high temperature record for an October 23 in the Quinte region.
Friday’s summer-like weather pushed the mercury up to 23.8 degrees Celsius at around 4 o’clock
in the afternoon according to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton.
The previous high temperature record for the date was 21.7 degrees and that was set in 1975.
