People living on Cannifton Road North in Thurlow ward played host to a surprise guest in the noon hour yesterday (Tuesday).
A bare-footed three-year-old boy wandered into a home. The child appeared to have difficulty hearing.
The residents didn’t know who he was and called police.
Fortunately an hour later police were able to contact the boy’s parents and learned that he had been in the care of a babysitter who’d fallen asleep.
No charges were laid but the incident was reported to Highland Shores Children’s Aid.
