A Stouffville man appears in Napanee court next month, following a major fraud allegation in Cloyne.
In early January, Lennox and Addington OPP responded to the report of fraud.
The victim reported losing approximately $5 million to an investment firm, and also claimed the money disappeared without a trace.
Seventy-three-year-old Stuart Ian McLeod is charged with mischief, using and making forged documents, and making a false statement in writing.
The court date is November 24.
