A group against a proposed major expansion of Quinte’s Isle Campark wants to put a hold on approving the project until its concerns are given a thorough hearing.
At Prince Edward County council’s Committee of the Whole meeting Thursday afternoon a law firm employed by the Friends of South Shore (FOSS) is demanding time to publicly present council and the new Manager of Planning all of its information regarding the area as it pertains to the proposed expansion involving 337 park model trailers.
The Friends of South Shore say they’ve presented all kinds of material to the county but have received no response and haven’t been treated fairly.
County council could vote on approving the project as early as next month.
