There will be a few more Florida Panthers fans in the area following yesterday’s conclusion to the NHL draft.
Belleville native Zac Uens was selected by Florida in the 4th round, 105th overall.
The 19 year old defenceman is now in his second season with the NCAA’s Merrimack College Warriors in North Andover Massachusetts after 3 junior seasons with the Wellington Dukes.
The 6 foot 1 inch 174 pound Uens is a graduate of the Quinte Red Devils Minor Hockey system.
