A Belleville woman had to be treated for a head wound after an alleged attack by her daughter early yesterday (Tuesday).
Belleville police responded to a Casey Road residence at 6:40 in the morning where the woman reported being hit in the head with a plastic sword by her daughter and losing consciousness.
Hastings-Quinte paramedics took the victim to hospital.
A 21-year-old Belleville woman faces one charge of assault with a weapon.
Her name will not be released.
