Staff in Prince Edward County have a lot of work ahead of them in the coming weeks when it comes to the future of the Sir John A Macdonald statue.
Public comments on the future of the statue in the downtown core closed on Friday morning.
Community Program Supervisor Emily Cowan tells Quinte News they have received over 60 responses and still have a few deputations to hear.
She says the main things they are taking away from the public’s responses are their ideas as to what should be done with the statue.
Cowan says those ideas will be given to the Sir John A Macdonald working group and a special meeting will be held on November 17.
