The Wellington Dukes have acquired a 20-year-old defenceman from the Cornwall Colts.
Tyler McBay split the 2019/20 season between Cornwall and the Brockville Braves, notching one goal and nine assists in 25 games.
The 6’1”, 185 pound native of Elmira, Ontario is committed to play at St. Lawrence University of the NCAA when he’s finished his junior career and has also represented Team Canada East at the 2018 World Junior A Challenge.
He also won a GOJHL Jr. C championship with his hometown Elmira Sugar Kings in 2016/17.
