There are now two active cases of COVID-19 in Hastings and Prince Edward.
The Public Health Unit reports the newest case was confirmed on Monday.
The transmission cause is still classified as pending.
This case now brings the total number of cases in HPE to 54 since the pandemic began.

In Northumberland County, there are three active cases for a total of 43.
Ontario is reporting 554 cases of COVID-19 as nearly 38,400 tests were completed.
Of those cases, 479 are in Toronto, Ottawa, Peel and York region.
