A 33-year-old from Trent Hills has been charged after an alleged stabbing in the village of Hastings late last week.
Officers responded to a home on Front Street North around 10:30 p.m. last Friday and found a victim on the ground with significant injuries.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance before being transferred to hospital in Kingston with what investigators say are non-life-threatening injuries.
A suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with one count each of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and assault with a weapon.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in Cobourg Court in October and no other details have been released.
