The second degree murder trial of a Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory man has ended and a decision on the charges against Brandon Baptiste is expected in November.
The five week long judge-only trial ended on Friday.
On April 2, 2017 Baptiste, 25 at the time of the incident, was charged in the shooting death of 43-year-old Kenneth Ferrill of Tweed.
Baptiste has been out of custody on $125,000 bail and has to wear an electronic tracking bracelet.
The judge’s decision is expected on November 6.
