Stolen vehicle recovered
On September 27, 2020 at 9:50 a.m., police took a complaint regarding a vehicle stolen from an address on Station Street. A 2011 white Jeep Liberty was stolen on the evening of September 26 and later recovered at an address on Victoria Avenue. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Cst Dan Hounslow at dhounslow@police.belleville.on.ca.
Fight after mischief
On September 27, 2020 at 1:55 p.m, police were called to the area of Ridley Street and North Front Street regarding a male being beaten up by four other males. On arrival, police learned that the lone male had allegedly caused mischief to an apartment and he was chased by the other males. A fight then took place, and the lone male was held until police arrived. The incident remains under investigation.
