Two men have been arrested and charged after OPP officers saw a potential break-in at a home in Trent Hills last night.
Officers were patrolling by the home on 13th Line East, around 8:00 p.m. and noticed some items at the end of the driveway, so they took a closer look at what was going on.
They say they saw two men with flashlights running from the property and dispatched the Central Region Emergency Response Team, K-9 Unit and a drone, which helped to locate the suspects not far away.
Thirty-nine-year-old Robert James Prevost of Trent Hills and 35-year-old Evan Kelly of Cramahe Township are both charged with forcible entry, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Prevost was also charged with identity theft and breaching release and probation orders.
Both were released with court dates in December.
