The OPP have seized almost 2,300 marijuana plants in Prince Edward County.
Officers searched a property Tuesday on Jericho Road.
Also seized was a rifle along with two tractors, a number of generators, power tools, items used in the production of marijuana, and close to $500 in cash.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with Cultivate, propagate or harvest more than four cannabis plants and Possession of proceeds obtained by crime:
· Chaofeng Yu, age 42, no fixed address
· Xiaofei Chu, age 34 from Scarborough
· Zhenmin Zhang, age 58, no fixed address
· Heng Zhao, age 39 from Scarborough
The accused individuals have been released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on December 2, 2020.
