There are three new confirmed COVID-19 infections in Northumberland County and all three people live in Trent Hills.
The Trent Hills Family Health Team released that information yesterday (Wednesday). Two of those infected are between 20 and 29 years of age while the third’s age is between 50 and 59.
The new infections bring the total number in Northumberland County to 40. Five of those remain active.
Meanwhile in Hastings and Prince Edward counties there was nothing new to report as of yesterday with the last confirmed case of COVID-19 occurring back on September 5.
Over 27,000 swab tests have been completed.
