UPDATE @ 6:15 p.m.: An industrial fire in Trenton started in a machine that crushes vehicles.
Quinte West firefighters responded to Karten Metals on Subway Road around 3:00 p.m. after flames broke out in the large machine, while workers were crushing a truck.
Fire Chief John Whelan says the blaze is being deemed accidental in nature and there is no word on what the damage might cost.
Nobody was injured.

Quinte West firefighters are at the scene of an industrial blaze in Trenton Wednesday afternoon.
They responded just after 3:00 p.m. to Karten Metals on Subway Road and are dealing with a machinery fire.
Chief John Whelan tells Quinte News he hopes to have more details once crews clear the scene.
At this point there is no word on any injuries, a cause of the blaze, or damage estimate.
