Brighton council wants to hear from residents about issues surrounding the growing short term accommodation rental business in the community.
Monday Quinte West council asked for staff to bring back a by-law to license and regulate short term accommodations such as those offered by Airbnb.
Brighton council will post a survey asking for residents’ input on the municipal website and staff will report back on the issue in the future.
It’s estimated there are currently a minimum of 40 short term rental businesses operating in Brighton.
