Staff in Prince Edward County have been forced to close the bathrooms in Benson Park until further notice.
The closure was announced Monday afternoon, following an act of vandalism at the site in Picton over the weekend.
A bulletin from Shire Hall says a portable toilet has been installed near the park’s multi-use courts and that the damage is currently being assessed.
Another notice will go out once the washrooms reopen and staff say they are “considering all options to prevent further vandalism at the park”.
