A barn fire is now under investigation by Northumberland OPP after it was determined the barn housed a large indoor grow operation.
Police attended the scene of a fire on Clarke-McKinlay Road in Hamilton Township on Saturday, September 12.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is currently investigating but upon the conclusion of that investigation, the Community Street Crime Unit will begin a criminal investigation.
No additional information was released.
