Lennox and Addington OPP and special units executed a warrant in Tyendinaga Township Tuesday and the result was the seizure of nearly 2,000 cannabis plants as well as production equipment.
The warrant was executed on McCullough Road and police say two people, 51-year-old Naibing Yu and 60-year-old Yimingzai Yu, both of Scarborough, have been arrested and charged with:
- Cultivate propagate or harvest more than four cannabis plants
- Possession of proceeds obtained by crime
Both have been released with court dates set for early November.
