The Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in connection with an arson investigation.
On April 11, 2020, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a fire at a commercial building at 2472 Stirling-Marmora Road in Stirling-Rawdon across from the Stirling-Rawdon municipal offices and fire hall. There were no injuries, but the commercial building that houses three businesses was destroyed causing about $750,000 damage.
The Central Hastings OPP Crime Unit is releasing photos of an individual and vehicle observed at the scene of the fire, and is asking for the public’s help to identify the male.
