It is off to Division 1 NCAA hockey for a member of the Wellington Dukes.
On Sunday, the OJHL club announced that Frank Vitucci is headed to the University of Alabama in Huntsville. In two seasons with the Dukes, Vitucci fired 108 points, including 67 in 2019-20.
In an article on the OJHL website, Wellington Head Coach Derek Smith said, ““Tooch is an elite goal scorer with a high hockey IQ. He not only has the ability to find his way to the soft areas to be a goal-scoring threat, but the way he can get to the greasy spots sets him apart from other players at our level. He has developed into someone who can play in every situation.”

The Trenton Golden Hawks have announced they have acquired a top sniper from the Junior B loop the GOJHL.
Joel Chauvin spent last year with the Thorold Blackhawks, where he averaged close to a point a game, finishing with 41 in 47 contests. He had 14 points in his final 12 regular season contests.
Trenton Coach/GM Peter Goulet says, “Chauvin is a smart skater. He is strong on the puck and will help with outscoring depth. We are excited to have Chauvin join us in Trenton.”
