Belleville Police are asking for the public’s help after a cyclist was hit by a truck this morning (Thursday).
Police say around 8:15 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Bridge Street East and Dufferin Avenue for a report of a collision.
The driver of the pickup truck failed to remain on scene and left the area.
He is described as a younger male driving a metallic blue pickup with possible front passenger side damage.
There were no serious injuries as a result of the collision but officers are looking for witnesses as well as the truck involved.
