The Quinte region is used to seeing massive planes overhead. For many, they see so many going in and out of CFB Trenton, it becomes routine. However, when a massive boat arrives in the region, people take notice.
Canadian Coast Guard vessel Limnos will be docked in the region for several days. Dozens of people were seen taking photos of it Wednesday at Meyers Pier in Belleville.
One of the 16 staff members aboard the ship told Quinte News they will be doing some repair work in the area.
He says they pick up buoys, work on lighthouses, and work in improving safety on water ways.
