Two local beaches have been posted as unsafe for swimming this weekend.
Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health monitors the water quality of area beaches weekly, looking for high levels of E.Coli bacteria that could cause various skin irritations or illnesses.
This week, water tests at the Frankford Park Beach on the Trent River and Tweed Park Beach on Stoco Lake, both came back with elevated levels of bacteria and will be closed.
