Prince Edward County OPP laid a couple of impaired driving charges Saturday.
Early Saturday evening officers were called about a driver in Picton. Upon investigation,
31-year-old Lacey Eaton of Prince Edward County was charged with impaired driving, driving without insurance and without proper licence plates.
Later Saturday night, OPP were called after people tried to prevent a vehicle from leaving a business but were unsuccessful and some contact was made between vehicles. Officers located a suspect and the driver resisted arrest.
Peter Burns, 39, of Prince Edward County, was charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving, assault with intent to resist arrest, assault, and failing to stop after an accident.
