Quinte West OPP are making it easier for residents to access various social services by offering up some office and meeting space inside the new police headquarters on Dixon Drive.
Some of those organizations include St. Leonard’s Community Support, Three Oaks Foundation, the Sexual Assault Centre, Highland Shores Children’s Aid, Volunteer and Information Quinte and others, with more agencies to be announced at a later date.
in a press release Monday, Detachment Commander Inspector Christina Reive says the police force already collaborates with many of the agencies, which for the most part are based in Belleville, so providing the space will allow people to access their services more quickly and effectively.
