On July 24, 2020 at approximately 9:15 pm, officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Quinte West Fire personnel, attended Hamilton Road in the area of Vandervoort Road Quinte West for a report of a two vehicle head on collision.
A female driver from the first involved vehicles sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. The second involved driver did not suffer any injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.

There was a serious collision on Hamilton Road last night (Thursday).
Details are few but it was a head-on crash around 9:30 pm near Vandervoort Road.
Quinte West firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extricate one driver who was
