Using excess space and making room at Catholic schools

Changes are coming as to which grades are offered where at two Catholic schools in Belleville next year.

Starting in September 2021, St. Michael Catholic School will become a kindergarten to Grade 6 school and will continue to offer French Immersion and English courses.  St. Michael school had previously been a kindergarten to Grade 8 school with French Immersion.

Meanwhile, Grades 7 and 8 students will take their classes at Nicholson Catholic College which is just down the street.

There is surplus capacity at Nicholson to allow the elementary students and it will continue to offer courses through Grade 12.

French Immersion for all  Secondary level students will also be offered at Nicholson.
