Hydro poles seemed to be a target for drivers in the area yesterday. In the mid-afternoon yesterday (Sunday) afternoon a vehicle knocked a pole down in the area of Christiani and White’s roads in Quinte West.
According to Scan-Quinte, Quinte West OPP, firefighters, and Hastings-Quinte paramedics responded, however it’s not known if there were any injuries.
Later in the afternoon, a vehicle slammed into a hydro pole along County Road 1 in the area of Jim Kimmett Boulevard in Napanee.
The road had to be closed and the power was out to over 2,000 customers for several hours while repairs were made.
Two people were treated for injuries in that collision.
And in Tyendinaga Township yesterday afternoon there was a single-vehicle rollover on Shannonville Road near Harmony Road.
According to Scan-Quinte at least one of the two female occupants was treated for injuries.
