The historic fire bell has been part of the former Trenton, and now Quinte West, Fire and Emergency Services since 1875.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan says the bell is now at its third Fire Station having started in the former Village Station in the core of Trenton in 1875, then moving to 165 Front St, in 1968 and now to the new headquarters at 49 Dixon Dr. in Trenton.
