Belleville native Abbott Girduckis has signed with the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL.
Jacksonville is the affiliate of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets and American Hockey League’s Manitoba Moose.
The 25-year-old Girduckis spent his rookie professional season with the Toledo Walleye last year scoring 15 goals and 19 assists. He also played nine games with the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters.
The former Quinte Red Devil and Wellington Duke spent four seasons at Rochester Polytechnical Institue.
